This piece exemplifies the depth, but also the subtle evolution and movement that goes along with every piece he publishes. Like Plastikman with a sense of groove. Just a top notch, brilliant artist."

4. Binaural Beat by @André Michelle

"You can't make an Audiotool mix without including the godfather of Audiotool. This might be an odd choice, given the snappy dance floor magic that Andre seems to effortlessly and consistently produce, but I like more abstract stuff, and this is incredibly designed."

"Amoeba is just always incredible. This stuff is demanding of the listener, complex and unpredictable. You can hear a sense of classical harmony in just about every piece, and this is no exception. "

"Hanging out with Kepz and Moogfest last year was one of the highpoints of the year. In addition to being a fantastic guy, he's (maybe more importantly) one of the most brilliantly natural musicians on Audiotool. His sense of space and melody is haunting and careful, and he clearly loves synthesizers, not just sound. Kepz belongs in any sensible top 5 list of greatest Audiotool artists, and this song is no exception."

"Thousands of Audiotools DEMAND to know what evil genius is behind this. The smart money seems to be on frigolito...but it's quickly becoming one of the great unsolved mysteries of Audiotool."

9. The Passers By by @opaqity

"This song zaps whatever part of my brain can't stop listening to Global Goon. Opaqity always has something unusual and wondrous going on, this one's just offbeat and weird and excellent."

10. Twin Pines (Tott Remix) by @Tottenhauser

"It's a bit embarrassing to include a remix of one of mine on here--especially when Tottenhauser has so many brilliant, dark and complex pieces to choose from. But I love the remix culture on audiotool, and this song is one example of how Tottenhauser's mad genius can take one of my little tunes and make it something more memorable. When I think about this song, this is the version I hear, thanks to his brilliant re-imagining."

"Like most of mine, I wrote this too quickly, and could have spent some more time learning to EQ properly...but I've been returning to this one lately since it's a bit more upbeat than my often melancholy turns. I thought about posting one of my older ones like "dapper" or "a lume spento", and had it down to this one (bactor) and "einsam". I wrote "einsam" sitting in an airport and wishing I was home. I wrote bactor just after something pretty excellent happened...so it's probably a more fitting choice for edition Audiotool. Thanks, guys!"
