I record music sometimes, using hardware instead of software (excluding editting). And a few songs i perform. I found audiotool and have not been able to stop messing around with it, without actually recording. But i still refused to play other people's music at parties. I am NOT a DJ. However, this song made me decide to maybe, just maybe, play other peoples music for a change (at parties, of course). This is the perfect song for the occasion. Thank u.
ticklesitter i completely understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, however, i do not think that they were slamming dubstep in that sample, more engaging the audience for the change. again great job guys

Makes me wish I had a faster machine at the moment to pull off more automation. I'm currently using a dinky emachine with 1/2 a gig of ram and less than 2gHz processing power :P But I guess it's all in how you use the elements ^__^ great job guys, will def be following both of you.

@Beathop We just got each others phone numbers and would text each other when we were working on the draft so the other person would know not to open it and start making changes
what i'm really trying to figure out is how two artists can share the same account and how they can work on the same drafts and let each other know what they think of any changes.
p.s. this would be so much easier if audiotool made a built-in PM system! ;)
I suspect GriffenE is the tidier of the two of you...I can almost make sense of the wires. I remember the last track I opened up of Astrum's used rnzr copyright protection layout LOL.
@Beathop: I can't speak for any other collabs but I think for us, it wasn't very hard. We took a really relaxed, fun approach to working together and it seemed to suit both of us just right! Everyone shoud collab! it's a great way to expand yourself as a musician and learn new things.
Although I can't tell that kind of mixing issue because I'm such an amateur, I agree with Infyuthsion that you guys are at a different level and to progress further, you'll need to now fine tune things. I think it's better you get that info even if you decide not to follow it for aesthetic reasons than if you don't. For us mere mortals, just producing a track is an event in itself LOL. Anyway, I want more of these colabs from you guys and I think both of you have a lot to offer (together and individually). I've been so massively impressed at each of your improvements over your time on the site.
#1 The "astrum basses" should lose the stereo spread. The big stereo takes away their power. Just center them more. #2 I can hear the compressor choking a few times in the song. Re-Balance volume levels, or make room with eq or more sidechain. #3 Small complaint but the one hihat sounds way too over eq-ed at top end.
I usually don't say anything, but I know you are a top producer on this site and capable. And the mixing issue seemed more obvious than usual. Anyways, it's just friendly advice.
