Well i made it so that the melody itself isnt really compressed, but the giant detuned reverb of the melody is very compressed, so that it sounds like the notes playing on the synth are the sidechain trigger to their own long reverb. its a sweet technique i saw first in rnzr's when stars collide remix, on the bass. i had to use an in audible kick sample in this track for the sidechain effect though since the split synth channel as its own sidechain trigger didnt give me that intense ducked feeling i wanted there to be on that echo.
This is kickin! only thing thats kinda getting me is all the compression on the melody. Kinda sounds like its a little too much, but maybe thats just me. Great work though :)
