My music is not made from sampled loops. It contains one-shots for drums and FX, and recordings of real-world stuff like voices though.
But I prefer to build my own… melodies… instruments… everything, if possible.

I know a good share about the physics and laws of information, don’t believe in the lie of “intellectual property”, and consider people who do criminals.

I usually use Cubase, Reason, Absynth, Battery, tons of Native Instruments stuff. other VSTs, a MIDI keyboard and a small MIDI knob box. Sometimes (rarely) I even take out my old electronics kit and build me a special effect. I prefer a software-only setup though, and think hardware devices are for old people who don’t understand the concept of a “computer”. ;)
