stop using the same automations as the ones from before, this is whats keeping you behind on Growl sound designing. That being said you have to start making them from scratch, the more you do, the more ways you find out how to make sound it good, or bad, and what waveforms sound good. Might I say, effects are where half your sound comes from in a growl, they are everything to making it have the sound it has. Thats why I know for certain you've used this before. Keep experimenting.
