The song I remade is called "Unknown Mother Goose" by wowaka (hitorie)

(It's only the part after the main chorus in the song lol.)

---

I got bored. XD

So I decided to test the difference between using only notes, and using only tuning automation, for a melody (like a vocal run/riff).

---

Which one do you think is better?

(The first region is only notes, the last is only tuning automations)

  • it depends on the track an electronica would go with the first one, but future bass would be the second

    • (Thanks for feedback btw)

    • It's a preset for a reason lol.

    • dang no one's talking about the sound design imma yoink if that's alright

  • I tried remixing Unknown Mother Goose a long time ago for one of my friends (who is a really big fan of Vocaloid) but I failed miserably.

    • I should've took up on this offer when I had the chance smh...

    • right 👍

    • Maybe,

If I do decide then I'll be focused on recreating the melody first.

  • you sure love putting the second part of a drop in an octave or two higher don't ya?

    • Ofc. XD

I love showing off "vocal" ranges. ;3

      And I thought so too.

    • also the second one sounds smoother

  • I got absolutely no responses to the question I asked in the desc... XDD

  • Side note: Remix is on just in case you want to see the work of me spending 5 minutes automating the tune. :)

  • wtf is that name in the desc xD

    • 1. i am thinking

      2. cant argue

      3. oh

    • Don't think about the name.

      The song is beautiful lol.

      (RIP wowaka tho)

  • Republished

Just a bit of note changes.

  • Let me know which one you think is better! (or not lol)

    1 (Notes Only)

    or

    2 (Tune/Tuning Automation Only)
