Dude, you've got the composition down. Keep at it and you're going to blow up. One glaring thing is that the "PC Music" synth is used throughout the whole track, and I think it's too annoying to use that extensively. You might want to mix it up with more organic, spread sounds. A higher pitched supersaw with a little reverb might make a good counterpart to that sound, or maybe a reesed square or something like that. You also want to give your bass some room so that the first drop really hits.
i think part of the reason that the bss is much stronger in the buildup is probably because i have less synths playing during the build than i do during the drop, but i rarely change the bass from buildup to drop, so one of the things that hardly changes wouldnt really ramp up in intensity either.
that lead anyways. i usually do two or three layers to it. idk why it sounds so annoying, and all of my leads are different sooooo... idk. i try to go for a similar sound on all of my leads, but they all usually end up sounding way different in the end.
i know what a supersaw is, i didnt know how to do it. thanks epsilon. and i appreciate the compliment on my response to your crit. i see what you are saying about the bass and that makes sense, although, i dont do anything different with the bass in between the buildup and the drop. i dont add anything. usually. sometimes i add a sub, but thats only if im using the bass synths that are more for sound rather than shape. and the sub is usually distorted too anyways. also, im pretty sure i layered
Holy crap bruv, this is musically amazing! However I do have crit for this song. Just as a general thing you want to have something that differentiates the buildup from the drop. Uusually people put a break before the drop. Your drop was I felt like mashed in together with the buildup. Next mixing needs to be refined definately as some parts were a really mashed together. I would prob suggest harder sidechain. I really like the chords and the layering, but the due to the frequency the chords are
isnt it amazing that i can have four bass notes all play with the same triad? i think so.

about 9 months agoThe drop, I think, needs some breathing room. There's too much going on at once, but I find this interesting. Seems like SYNRGY enjoys this a lot xD
