Basic and easy dnb beat - grab a machinist and on a 16 length - choose a kick you like and put it on 1 and 11, choose a snare you like and put it on 5 and 13, high hats on every other block (1,3,5,7 etc). Second snare on 7 and 9 third snare on 8. make all the snares different pitches. Then go off on one, add cymbals another kick, whatever you like, just keep it in time :)

I prefer to not sample drum loops etc. I like to make it from scratch
unless I'm doing a sampling project

it's not really dnb..but i do know what you mean..I'm not great at dnb drums though..just can't get that feel right :')
