I like the whole track, but the high hat in the left ear is particularly satisfying. It provides some lightness contrasting with this heavy atmosphere. Did you try to automate a moving panning for this high hat? Meaning when the high hat is playing in the left ear, it could slightly move from the left to center or the other way round, let say with a panning in a range of -70 to -20 for example (just an idea, idk)
