I would make the chops smoother, its cool to have switch ups or "glitches" but overdoing them takes away from the beat. I would take a snare from a break or an equally "old" sounding one, and definitely mix the acapella. an easy trick is go go for a more "lofi" sound and subtly low pass higher frequencies until it's smooth or turn high gain down on the mix board for a less muted tone while still doing the same thing. I would also cut back on some reverb it's muddying the beat.
