I started by recording the initial guitar part, the chords Fmaj7 and Cmaj.

Then programmed a melody(simple and possibly annoying) and layered it with my guitar w/flange and 3 other synths.

For the drums, I chose more acoustic samples because I favor their timbre over something akin to electronic samples. I like the dynamics they allow.

The chords are syncopated by 1/16th.

I'm still working on my mixing I'm not great but I've gave it my all.

I'd like to think this is a decent track.
