the 1997 mir fire must have been fucking terrifying. being in the middle of an infinite void on a small vessel. that is filled with smoke. you're blind. can't see what's in front of you. what you're not blind to is the fact that about 2-5ft away from you is that void
and if the fire burns through enough material, you basically just stop existing

nah sadly the art was a pinterest find, but i am familiar with Mir and take a lot of inspiration from that sort of astrophobia ngl so ur spot on, [the fact that something as simple as a latex glove being what caused it.. god dude..] though i tend to draw more inspiration from sputnik 2, laika deserved better.

I'm sorry but the half time at 2:25 has to be the best fucking dubstep I have ever heard in my life
also those harmonic-square bleeps through out the track feel like they belong in space
this track literally belongs in a short film about space
the dissonant into synth also sells the feeling really well

Even outside of it being a remix of my own tune, I’m very happy this style of dubstep is being released on the platform in 2026. In a way, this kind of tune is what I’ve always wanted to make and hear on here, I’ve always made it as a fan first. So hearing it at this level and scale is dead ass exciting to hear.
Tho what I think I like most is actually the bridge and melodic elements you implemented!

ngl i was introduced to it through your older work back in the day when this stuff was REALLY obscure, i always heard the idea but never was able to fully grasp it [bc.. Briddim excision put ur x up woo yeah lost lands era LOL]
absolute gem of a style with so much untapped potential
it was really really fun workin on this, and nah the organization and mix was solid and a fantastic starting place
im really really glad u fw it, and even moreso id LOVE to work on a track with u
