ok so ill first be going over how to properly make bass, a pad and percussion. ill be using this setup to also explain eqing.

when you make a track you cant have everything clustered together. in this example i have a lower end (bass), an midrange (pad) and percussion (high). im not talking about "low", "mid" and "high" as in frequencies but as in sounds...you cant have too many synths covering the same notes or else it will be difficult to eq, the mixing will be bad and it wont sound good.
