I used the Machinist where I uploaded several different samples. The samples were clap beat, bass beat, snaps 2.0, and kick loop. I put the clap beat on beat 8. I put the bass beat on beats 6 and 14. I put the snaps 2.0 on beat 4. I put the kickloop on beats 3,5,6,7,8,10,11,13,15. I then added an open high hat on every 16th note. I started out with the clap sample which I thought was a solid base. I then began adding different samples if I thought they sounded good with the clap sample. I did this until I believed I had a strong sample.
