The ambience will sound different depending on if it's the pilot's cabin (louder, richer) or passenger's cabin (quiet, more muted). I think that you need a bit more harmonics on the mid and high end, some pitch too and some subtle automation to give it interest. I'd recommend the Pulv's filter in HP/LP mode. yes! I actually modelled after that video. I recorded through Audacity and spectrum analyzed to see which frequencies were peaking... The friend who needed my help wanted to have a inflight cabin sound that's not too noisy (for a game), so I tailored to his need.
