Publishing this for the fun of it and to download. This is for a film being made by a bunch of students called "Simulation". They liked the track 'In Space.... no one can hear you breathe' and asked me to put together some mood music for the monster scenes (it's basically Alien meets 2001 meets Apollo 13). It's a bit worrying how easy it was to come up with really dark, evil, fucked up sounds...... I think I might need a friendly chat........and prozac :) Shout out to the director Sarah for the tips and pointers.

Which I cheerfully ignored and came up with something better, I'm an artist dammit!!!

  • Cheers everyone :) @fauko good idea might try it my self :)

  • i wouldn't be surprised if someone cam by and remixed this as a dnb piece...

  • super piece, Jambam. you've captured the sense of spacey dread quite well. please post a link if they upload the movie anywhere - i'd like to see if they can do this justice!

  • Scary shit!

  • Hihi I'm loving that last piece of 'advice'

  • Wow cheers everyone! I really didn't expect this to get, well any faves! Sent off today, will find out in a couple of days if they're going to use it. Thanks again :)

  • IT'S good , this will work well

  • good job :)

  • wow, i listened to it in my feed and instantly thought 'that would be an awesome soundtrack for a dark, scary movie'. then i read your description. i guess you're on spot with this for the movie! :)

  • great ambient !!

  • @arche3.0 er we have spoken before right? @Eleanormality Yes! and get out of there! Don't pack and don't look back, just run!!!! Hehe cheers guys :)

  • Is it weird that this is what I'd imagine the score would be like if my life were a movie? ;p

  • Always ignore direction. That's my motto

  • Cheers Arp n Mad :) Yeah the first bit doesn't sound too great but that bit is going to be really quiet in the background. Almost like a texture rather than a score, so I upped the highs. Odd to say but turn the volume down on the first bit, it's better.

  • I think it's really good! Although the part with the goofy pitch change synth @ 1:00 sort of ruined the creepy mood for me and just made it weird, which in a movie I think will stand out too much if you want a creepy, suspenseful mood. but idk :)
