My most ambitious project to date, again. I started this draft attempting to create Goa trance but I found that it became more progressive as I added lead synths. The hard part about Goa and psychedelic trance is knowing what sounds to add without seeming arbitrary.

11 Pulverisateurs, 7 Heisenbergs, and 2 303s. That's too many synths for me. Also, I'm proud of 9 minutes.

  • I can see why this is your fave! I agree with Jambam about the reverb..... Much to be learned from you. Totally inspiring tune!

  • Wow! Sounds like space!

  • Haha holy crap dude I can see why you wanted to come back to this. Gr8 m8.

  • Listend to it again and man ... so many sounds. My computer would def crash if i opened it

  • btw, really amazing track inavon! love ur sounds!

  • haha r u software engineer?

  • wow! amazing work!

  • Thanks . I understand now.

  • @Todd heh, when it comes to code, refactoring is improving code without changing its function. In that sense, I "refactored" this draft by switching my old ping-pong delay for a higher quality version that I discovered after the initial publish.

  • It's bloody good! :) I need to learn your tricks with the reverb - no unwanted noise, and those little stuttered percs are great.

  • Don't know what "refactoring" means but refav. As a quick aside, I don't know if you've heard (of) a band called "Astralasia", but when you make this type of music they always spring to my mind. Been around since about 1990. I think you might like them.
