Arche, thanks for your feedback ... well... I also do not apply a formula to create my tracks ... I follow my intuition, my musical background and especially my ears ... sometimes works, sometimes not ... but I'll go ahead ... That's it.
What makes me happy now is that my provocation worked ...

sorry for the rant. BTW: the one track I did get featured was when the amazon server in Ireland was struck by lightning or something and the site was down for something like 12 hours. Shortly after the site was back up, my track was no longer featured, so it was on the feature list for like 3 hours or something....LOL

honestly I'm kind of tired of worrying about featured tracks, followers and favorites. I have 1 featured track on my own and 1 with Versus. I rarely use samples mostly because I'm too lazy to work them in. As far as good music using samples - there's plenty of it. I don't care how it's made, if it's fun and cool, it will interest me. Why does something get featured while other tracks that could be even better don't? Who the hell cares....

Mate! I suspect that a track gets featured because it is particularly liked,( for whatever reason), by the guys at audiotool H.Q!.... It's as simple as that! And if there are strong individual favourites they will get featured no matter what they publish! :) Hehe That's is life!! :)

Why a tuned combination of good samples, with a nice swing, can not be a featured track? Please someone answer me...
