    too much detune at the beginning, make the drums harder, gets distorted towards the end, and turn the whole song down a little

    It sounds like there is too much pwm (or pitch tuning) on the synth that starts the track. Also, that in combination with the low sustain/decay on it make it sound a little derpy. The way the track progresses, it's hard to tell the genre it will be. I think that you can fix this by making transitions. Like the first part can be a simpler version of the buildup, then the buildup be the regular melody, then some automation like riiiight before the beat drops. It gets a little cluttered-sounding..
