  • Love it ! I've just seen when opening the track that you use two machiniste, one for the drum sound and the other for the sidechain effect... Have you thought about using only one machiniste and a splitter connected to the kick ? With this you could connect 1 of the 3 signals to the centroid for the kick sound, and the 2 other signals could be used for a sidechain effect

I don't know if you think it's convenient, but it is for me :)

    • With pleasure ! Don't worry when i joined audiotool all the devices scared me too, and even today there are a lot that i don't know how it works.

But i will have no access to my computer during two weeks so if you want in the meanwhile you can open my track "neon lights" to see how the splitter works (i used the gravity for the sidechain, not the compressor)

(Sorry for my broken english lol)

    • yo thank you for the feedback! this is actually super helpful! i originally used 2 machiniste's just to organize and prioritize but really if you look at my other songs i havent experimented enough with the tools section of the devices at all, all honesty its intimidating! maybe you could teach me a thing or 2 about how it works!
