interesting idea @Tottenhauser.... I enjoy this tune but likely would've never stumbled onto it had you not posted to my wall. For me, I'd be much more likely to check out a non-self-promoted track though since the idea of sharing someone else's work seems more like sharing a good find and less like asking to inflate artificial fav numbers.
There is a LOT to be said for Wise and unselfish marketing though.. The way i see things and this is with all sorts of advertising.. 1 Don't play me as stupid 2. Dont be totally selfish in and intrusive in your marketing. 3 offer up something in return for us taking the time to watch your marketing ( example .. the old spice commercials i dont mind watching at all because they made a successful effort to make the marketing enjoyable and something i do not mind seeing )
