Two years ago, I had an idea of some future bass-esque chords inspired by the THX Deep Note, in which some chords go up and some bass notes go down as they resolve to one single chord, or so I think.

This time, instead of just the basic 5th chord from the OG Deep Note, I decided to use a bunch of colorful chords and melodies, all of which start with short Deep Note-ish pitch bends.

A handful of Pulvs and Heisenbergs were used, all of them with a different starting pitch bend, inspired by the way the OG Deep Note started - random dissonant notes that resolve into an organized chord later on. This is explained in the later half of this track, which consists of a deconstruction of each synth/bass with its corresponding pitch bend automation.

I thought the example piece might work as a future-bass-esque song, but instead I ended up making a DnB piece (lole and ecks dee) where even the riser at the end is inspired by the deep note. And the drums came out nicely IMO.

And yes, I did use the Think Break.

Well... that might be it for now. As I said so many times before, please share this track if you liked it, and don't hesitate to give me feedback, which is always welcome. Keep your eyes peeled for more stuff that is stuff, even if it's short tracks or years-old drafts like this one, which has potential to be extended into a proper song. :)
