My third track, and so far my best. I spent time and effort into this, it is my child.

The Sun flies over our heads

No Cloud floats in its way

Until the dark of the Night we dread

Unless begins another day

  • Great Job Man!

I forgot to shorten the ending, I ended up with empty space at the end last time

Trimmed it up a wee bit, found the only spot in the entire track where two sections of notetracks are exactly the same, and deleted one.

  • @CallyKay Thanks. It seemed repetitive to me to, I added some variation, but it was all pretty much of the same thing. It's kind of minamilistic track, except for the bridge.

I just tried to change the melody of the arps, and it sounds horrible, so I figure my best bet would be to add another synth as the melody, and push the arps into the background. Which may or may not work.

  • @Nion I'm not sure. When I first published it I got over 1000 plays within a week, yet didn't get a single comment nor favorite. It happened to my other first tracks too. Strange.

  • Why so many plays and barely favorites? lol nice job dude. Follow back and check my wall!

  • Okay, well for starters, you needed a new melody it is way to repetitive, too much gliding there needs to be more real melodies and notes, it sounds a bit like a child banging on the piano, to put it lightly. Too much hissing, and noises, keep trying you'll get it.

I added subtle pads and a bit-crusher during the bridge.

  • @FLAMEFIRE Thanks! I'm still editing it, and adjusting things. I changed it drastically since then, but I'm still balancing it, and trying to get the right sound.

    I changed it...again.

  • this sounded cool

Edit 2: I felt this track didn't have enough variety, so I added the stutter part in the midddle, and extended the whole track.

I balanced the track more. I felt like the chords were too overpowering, and I panned everything, so it isn't all just in front of you.
