Here are some examples of wah-wah pedal. This effect are done by moving filter frequency, and emphasize it with resonance parameter. So with only bassline's ENVelope MODulation parameter, it can be done. But in that case,
the move of it is fixed on each note, so is something different from wah-wah pedal. To express effect of pedal, you can move frequency like a move of your foot.

By the way, to express more like voice of human, you can add one more filter in parallel. This is called formant filter.

thx :) If it could be help you a little, I'm glad. I learned formant from Japanese Book about Max/MSP. And I also learned basics of digital audio processing from it and using max everyday with it's pdf manual,examples programs and checking forum. But because the self-study, it's not a perfect at all, and not knowing the new thing. And not use these days :)
