I've been a student of music since the age of eight. I started with the piano and took lessons for six years. By that time another musical love had come into my life, the drums! Those piano lessons paid off big-time when it came to knowing how to read music in middle school, high school, and college. My hard work paid off and I auditioned for the drum chair in the Univ. of Alabama Jazz Ensemble in the Fall of 1991. I spent two years in the jazz ensemble and two years in the University Percussion Ensemble. As of now, I'm trying to wrap my head around this program here. I'll get it if I stick wit it.
