The issue
Occasionally the notification button shows a number on it, but when I click it, there are no new notifications since the last time I checked. I am unsure if there are actually new notifications but they are not popping up, or if the site is glitching out.
Information
This started happening after I turned on the notification setting that listens for when an artist I follow publishes a new track. Browser: Google Chrome. My device: Acer Nitro 5. OS: Windows 11. Pointless base-16 number in my head: F07B9A.

It may be a glitch it does it to me to and I'm on Chromebook so if it is a glitch it should be resolved if a mod finds this but if not it may be something where it'll show you the notification and if it pops up while you are active it'll mark it as read for you and may not see it if that makes sense to you (hopefully this was helpful at least somewhat)
