Let me guess, you didn't put it into a Machiniste. You only put it in a standalone AudioTrack device. In which case, if you want your sample to loop, you're going to have to stretch its strip across the span of your timeline. If you've done that already, then I have no idea, perhaps try again and if it happens again I have no idea what else could be done to bypass this issue.
