Timeline Track Organization

When you first open a track, this bug wont happen. But when you add more things so that you have to scroll down in the timeline (more synths, automations, audiotracks, anything), you can't really reorganize anything down there.

It'll reorganize something, tho. I scrolled back up in the timeline and found everything completely disorganized and out of place.

I'm a guy that's a little OCD when it comes to this sort of thing, so if y'all could fix this asap, that'd be great.

I can reproduce this. When the timeline scroll bar is at the top, click-dragging timeline tracks to reorganise them vertically works normally. If the scroll bar is anywhere lower and the top track / tracks aren't visible, click-dragging timeline tracks behaves unpredictably. To me it looks like the app isn't taking the scroll bar position into account and is trying to move the track that would be under the pointer if the scroll bar was at the top.

I'm still having issues with this function (vertically rearranging devices on the timeline). Perhaps the fix introduced problems that show up whenever the device list doesn't fit inside the height of the timeline:

  1. When dragging a device from the bottom to the top (top tracks aren't visible), the scroll of the device list doesn't start until the pointer passes half the app's window, regardless of the height of the timeline. I think that the scroll should start as soon as the pointer passes the top edge of the timeline.

  2. This one is strange: whenever the timeline scroll bar isn't near the top, clicking a device in the list will automatically move the scroll bar to the bottom, even without moving the mouse. The list shouldn't scroll by itself until the mouse moves.

I hope this helps.

  1. In some cases, especially in projects that have a long history of work, trying to move a device from the bottom to the top is impossible. The timeline won't scroll up.
