I been with SoundTrap many years. I absolutely hate the Support. So much so that this time I am going to delete my account finally.
All I want to do is change my Email Login. I had to show Invoices from when I bought my first subscription of SoundTrap, Financial Statements, give my VISA info, and more. Just to request that they allow me to use a different Email to Login than an old one.
And I can’t change my Subscription Level since my original Subscription was part of a Spotify Promo of SoundTrap. This is back when Spotify owned SoundTrap. Before many here were born.
When I think of the $1,000’s I have spent now on SoundTrap and the hassle they put me through to change a lousy Email handle I am furious. I can’t even look at SoundTrap anymore. So I just now came to AudioTool.
In real life I use a Sparky Linux Multimedia Edition computer and Ardour & Audacity for the majority of my Audio work. I think folks expect way too much from Cloud Software. There is a tremendous amount of resources being used to spin this software. And to accommodate everyone’s ideas of what it should be brings a Bloat and Cost to operate factor too great to want to think about.
I use the Cloud more for fun and social stuff. Collaboration is what SoundTrap was good for. Very easy to Collaborate. SonoBus is far superior for Collaboration. You wanna Jam? SonoBus! SonoBus is bad ass!
