I made my first (non-sample-based) piece of music in January 2013. It's hard to think that's almost been 5 years. But it's good to know where you came from to figure out where you're headed and why. In middle school, I was obsessed with Minecraft and after watching the 2012 convention panel with C418, it inspired me to make music as well, to share the feeling I had gotten from his work, with others. To uplift. It's a little silly, but I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for that and where I started... I wouldn't be where I am today.

I just wanted to encourage you to look back at where you started. Look at how far you've come and what you've been through. Know that even though you've still a ways to go, you can still make it in the end.
