I smell an implicit feature request :P
That's the price for having devices that are easy to use. There are a lot of other things that are too inflexible for my needs. As an example I'd like to have separate hull curves for the noise's filter.
I'm working on making it possible to use the devices in a less pre-baked manner. Will take some time, though :(
maybe we should have the community create some devices themselves? (((((:

like for example modular synthesis, where you just add whatever you need instead of having it all pre-baked buuuuut i imagine that'll take like 100000 years
A challenge will be to mix both worlds:
Designing polyphonic effects is also harder than is might sound at first. This complexity is currently encapsulated within the devices.
