I am wondering so that i can edit an audio piece (interconnectedness) in order to see how it looks different ways in an audio steganograph.

i don't think either work on a chromebook though, i'll have to look into sound forge.

Audiotool is a DAW. You want an audio editor like Audacity or something more advanced like Sound Forge.
