I don't make either of these genres but generally a piece of advice I can give is that you should just use audiotool to make things, any things, random things, whatever.
Take time to familiarise yourself with the devices. You should also read the manuals for more "technical" info, and make sure to search up the youtube tutorials too.

hi! i am new here to. I am more of a country music or pop music type of person but r&b is fun too! I would suggest starting with some Youtube tutorials but just playing around and exploring the page is a good option too.
