Incorporating DAW of my own in my game

I have been working on a video game. It is a 2D sandbox simulation game that allows you to do a lot of things because you're able to see things from both a top-down and side-view perspective. I can't give that much info on the features though because it's a surprise, and I'm still working on the prototypes. But soon I'm going to incorporate a Digital Audio Workstation of my own into my game, because I was inspired by audiotool. The difference is, that it will simulate hardware while still being able to control the player in the virtual world at the same time. It will take me a few years to optimize my game, and make sure that it's bug-free before release. Tell me what you think?

It sounds ambitious.

It's a simulation game that allows you to do a variety of things, but the main goal is to survive, like in real life.
It's going to start off very simple. I'm not aiming for something amazing like audiotool. just something basic to work off of in the future. It will basically be just cute 8 bit synths for now. So nothing much.
I'm using C# which is similar to java script. And for now I'm only targeting windows PC's, since that's what I work with, but I want it to be on other platforms as well.
The more important part is making sure my game is optimized for certain computers with a low end processor, or graphics card. So when you wan't to go in your virtual music studio, I only ask the computer to do tasks that are relevant to music.
The problem is that nowadays, high quality 2D graphics is a demand, but these visual effects require you to own a high end computer or else the performance will suffer. So i'm going to counter that by making my scripts carefully.
It is ambitious for one person, but the end result will be very rewarding, and I love doing it anyway.

@81274 To me it sounds like you're just making a bunch of statements, without knowing what you're actually talking about.

(It is a hint to actually go study these subjects and not just make vague posts about them)
