I felt that rather than putting a little announcement on my wall that will only ever be seen by people online right now, I thought it would be better to put this up on the Audiotool Boards, for ease of access, organization, and longevity. That being said, allow me to get into what this post is about. I'm putting this in the Chitchat section of the boards as to not have it interfere with any other sections where this would be irrelevant.
Overview
I assume that most of the users taking the time to read this post (btw thank you for taking that time for me, it's gonna be a long one and I appreciate your time) are either fans of mine or friends of mine. Either way, I would like to inform all of you on the direction I am headed in my music production. Those of you who have stuck with me since early on know that I made my name on Dubstep and other types of heavy bass music, and that's kind of what I built my current humble fan base on, and I don't want to disappoint you guys. I greatly appreciate every last one of you for taking time out of your days to listen to my music, give your criticism, and chat with me. It's one of the greatest things I've ever experienced online, and I'd like to briefly thank you guys for everything. That being said, I know that most of my fans have become fans because of my Dubstep and hard music, but I've decided that Dubstep isn't what I want to make on Audiotool anymore.
So What Does this Mean for Me?
Recently, throughout the year of 2017 so far, I've been experimenting with all kinds of different types of electronic music, and I love it all. However, I feel I've had the most fun producing genres like Downtempo and Lofi Future Bass, rather than my harder Dubstep and Drum n Bass. Right now, I'm working on my last hard EP. After it's released, I will be shifting my focus to more soft and melodic music.
So, No More Dubstep?
I will still try to make harder music, as I do very much enjoy listening to Dubstep, but it will not be done on Audiotool. Jaxxn will be solely more mellow music. If you do want to keep up with what I'm doing in terms of harder music, you can follow Anti5ocial on Soundcloud, which is the only place you'll hear it from me, but do be warned that I will not release very often, considering it takes me a very long time to work in FL Studio, especially with all the fine-tuning that a good Dubstep track requires. With other types of music, I can express myself without having to worry as much about the sound of everything. Of course I do still need to worry about my mixing, but with other types of music, mixing won't be ALL I'm doing.
Why am I Doing this?
When I'm producing nothing but Dubstep, consistent releases are very hard to do. At the rate I produce, I'm lucky if I even finish a track, even if it's not good enough to release. Not to mention, getting the tracks to a comfortable quality to release to you is also very difficult and stressful for me, and I often have to take long hiatuses just to get my mind working again to come up with ideas. Taking the stress and frustration out of music production is what I need, and mellow music is the way for me to do it. Hopefully, I'll start being more consistent with my publishing and interaction on this wonderful platform.
Closing
That's all I wanted to say, thank you all for taking the time to read this, and I hope you understand that I'm taking out Dubstep for the betterment of myself and my music. Thank you all for sticking with me this time. I greatly appreciate you all and hope you all continue to stick around for more music.

Hey, do what you love. Don't let others influence your music. Good on you for doing what you want to do.
Influence what you want to make I mean.
