I am new to music production and found audiotool as a good starting point . After some time of using audiotool , I found out about the beta version and was using it .I think the beta , in itself is good , but how it's being handled is bad . 'Some tracks made on beta will be deleted during the shift' isn't something that should happen , even if it has a reasonable explanation. To me , the problem is that , we as user are facing issues that shouldn't happen . Audiotool should have found a different way for shift where all the progress on both original and beta would be saved , before they began the whole process. I lost all the progress I made on all the projects during this year along with some projects as whole .
So I thought maybe I can save presets as a way to work on projects and keep my progress saved .
I used this method for a project i was working on currently . I experiment with some things, didn't like them as much , try to go back to my presets I saved and boom , a message pops up saying there's some issue and now I can't use those presets . Bruh I am so frustrated with it , I just wanna switch to a different software as a whole .
I am new to all this stuff , so if you guys can help me in any ways , I would appreciate . Like , how do you guys save progress on beta , or if you guys even use beta for proper work currently or use the original software

Thanks for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to lose progress, especially when you're just getting started with music production.
During the beta phase we recommended exporting important work as .wav files, since the beta environment may occasionally require resets or refreshes. Because of the way the new system is being developed, the beta and the original platform currently run as separate environments, and there is no direct interface or synchronization between them.
The beta access was made available so that, together with the community, we can test features, gather feedback, and build the best possible version of Audiotool for the future. As with most beta environments, this unfortunately also means that it isn’t intended to be a fully stable production space yet.
For that reason, we generally recommend using the stable version of Audiotool for important production work, and using the beta mainly for testing and experimentation while the new platform is being developed.
We still very much appreciate everyone who takes the time to test the beta and share feedback, since that helps us improve the platform for everyone.
