Lets say you want to automate an envelope for a Heisenberg randomly. You could adjust the range of automation (for instance 0 - 100) and the smoothness of the automation (perhaps using an adjustable ratio? for every ___ milliseconds, change by __?) Then, if you record while it's automating, you can preserve it.
