Saving areas

What i mean by areas is a group of devices.

So if the feature existed, you could save and load up areas, say for example a sidechain setup or a full synth and fx preset.
it would load up the devices AND presets that they have, which means that you could load up a synth device with fx devices connected to it that have been manually setup for the synth already.

i'd think it'll slow down time spent in audiotool song production because you can load up setups, but i also think it'll help others explore how devices work because other people have provided a cool growl synth with fx that they've never seen before.

I think this already exists. You can create and save templates.

yeah but you can't import them into your projects

Yes, I think you can save a project as a template instead of a track but there does not seem to be a button anywhere to import a personal or community template to an existing project, and that would streamline everything like he is talking about.

I don't think templates even work anymore
