Look as much as I like trying to replicate this unique sound with millions of "Curve EQ's" and a billion "phasers," it gets to a point of ridiculousness. In sound design, a strong vocoder is both fun to play around with, and can get those kinds of sounds that you can't achieve otherwise. Anyhoo, I'd like to see that.
While you ponder if I'm worth your time, here's a few other things I'd like to mention. The tube distortion is fine, but it's pretty limited to... well... tube distortion. Y'know how you guys made the new prototype compressor which is actually pretty nice? I'm thinking kinda like that with a more visual approach. And it's not even the visual side either. If you could have a x-y mod distortion option on the distortion filter and a few other options (kinda like Serum), that'd be cool.
Also, what about the comb filter? Could we get a visual feature version of that? Where you can instead of setting the "notes" and tuning of certain frequency bands, you can adjust the resonance and highpass of what frequencies they affect.

About the Tube pedal, you might want to have a look at the Waveshaper. It expands your distorting possibilities: https://www.audiotool.com/board/what_s_new/new_device_waveshaper
not close... that would be the day when distorting sounds like vocoder
I thought that you were talking about three separate requests: vocoder, distortion and comb filter. I was addressing the second one.
wait, you can only request one thing at a time. nah, get on his case too.
well you can adjust the resonance and highpass of certain frequencies just using the bandsplitter with a slope on each frequency output
ew, slope. i try hard to stay away from that
bro what do you mean ew
slope is super useful what are you talking about
uh dude sure you can do that but i'm pretty sure it only has 3 bands lol. i was also thinking something like a vocoder and also maybe something like Vocodex
