Wrong board.
It depends on the type of vocals, which depends on the genre you're doing. I recommend to search for tutorials in YouTube about your specific kind of vocal (hip-hop? rock? pop?) and apply the ideas to Audiotool.
im having a hard time figuring out how to actually add my vocals to my track... I use the probe to record, but how do i add to my main track?
Probe is essentially a sample editor and, while you can edit samples of arbitrary length in it, you'll be limited to 30 seconds for each upload.
