Audiotool being extremely slow and constantly disconnecting

I dont know if this is just a me problem, but lately Audiotool takes forever to load when opening or changing tabs. getting here to the bug report section took me a solid 3 minutes. not only that, but when im in the studio i constantly (every 5-10 seconds literally) get the popup message saying "were having trouble connecting to internet" and i have to hit reload or retry for it to go away.

im convinced this is solely a problem with audiotool because ive tried using other websites such as youtube, gmail, etc, and no problems whatsoever. my wifi connection is fine, same issue across different browsers, and ive tried clearing cache and cookies. no dice.

please lmk if other people are having this issue and if its working to be resolved. if it is just a me problem, please someone help me fix this, its very annoying. thanks! :3

  • today it kicked me out three times of my tracks that I was working on.

8:25-9:25 WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TO ME? :(

  • I've had this issue today but not as bad as this guy is having.

  • Audiotool can be slow due to a slow browser, excessive CPU usage, or an overly complex project with many tracks, effects, and plugins. To improve performance, try closing other browser tabs, deactivating unused tracks, minimizing the window, or reducing the number of active effects. If using the native desktop app, make sure your system has enough free RAM and that all audio and chipset drivers are updated

this is what ai said to me

  • bro it just did internal sever error again

"Just trying to do tracks and listen to tracks"

    :( pls help

  • same here. really annoying when you want to publish something. I really hope the admins are doing something about this...

  • happening to me across several devices and networks as well.

  • Effects on Earth

Communication disruption: The X-rays and UV radiation can affect Earth's ionosphere, disrupting long-range radio communications.

Power grid issues: Strong flares can cause blackouts.

Auroras: Flares can also trigger beautiful light shows, such as the aurora borealis and aurora australis, in lower-latitude regions than usual.

Radiation hazards: The radiation can be a risk to astronauts in space.

    • Excellent AI generated explanation of solar flares and how they could be causing our problems. However, there are a few things you failed to consider. Only Audiotool.com seems to be affected, and so far it's been prolonged over the course of multiple days. If a solar flare hits, it would affect more than just this site, and it would be shorter lived.

What instead may be the explanation is the fact that the servers may be receiving heavier traffic than they're rated for, needing of restart, are old, or something else is going on that definitely isn't a solar flare.

      Excellent theory though.

  • How they form

Charged gases inside the Sun generate electrical currents, creating tangled and twisted magnetic fields.

When these magnetic field lines suddenly snap and reorganize, they release the built-up magnetic energy in the form of a solar flare.

This energy release sends high-energy particles and radiation outward from the Sun.

  • A solar flare is a powerful and sudden burst of energy and radiation from the Sun's surface, occurring when magnetic energy builds up and is suddenly released. These flares can last from minutes to hours and emit radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, traveling at the speed of light and reaching Earth in about eight minutes. Solar flares originate in areas of strong magnetic fields, often near sunspots, and can cause disruptions to radio communications and power grids but also create auroras.

  • No, the reason it says 500 internal sever error is because of solar flares

    "I think" :|

  • This is a periodic issue. Every now and then the servers get a little slow, sometimes they crap out and give me Error 500 or something (I forgot the exact HTTP error code). Sometimes I also get this thing where there's a connection issue popup that appears in the studio that keeps popping up every single time I hit "retry" but eventually stops coming back, only to come back a few seconds later and then stay up for 5-10 "retry" clicks before just not coming back for the rest of the day.

    • Yes, it was an HTTP 500 error (Internal Server Error). I just had it, then it took me a few minutes to get here to report my discovery. It's probably internet traffic, I don't really know.

  • oop, sorry just realized i posted this in the wrong section lowkey. hope thats ok

  • same with me!!!
