Help with griefers?

It is frustrating when a group of people have been collaborating on a project in a public session and I come back to check on it to find everything has been deleted. Then when I press the undo button to try and get back to a decent place and it says "The item ... is not available" so I can't fix anything.

What is there to do to prevent this from happening or to report/block the ones who are intentionally destroying others' work? Is there any way to undo the deletion of notes, patterns, and devices?

Thanks; I appreciate your support.

  • I'm sorry about your lost work. The usual prevention measure is to create a bookmark before you expose the track for collaborations.

    • Well we SHOULD be scared, there's an army of hundreds of children waiting to delete our public drafts

    • I advocated for security measures and warnings back then (like better control of collaborators' rights) but was met with a "don't scare people, it's all about collaborating" stance.

    • Maybe instead have a disclaimer for public access and have an auto-save for the bookmarks with a limit of 5 or something so people don't have to remember to save
