I have created machinist patterns and added them as pattern tracks that are visible down at bottom left corner of the display. Everything seems to work as shown in the tutorials (thank you for all the tutorials btw!!!) But when I want to just listen to one pattern track and mute the others how do I do this? There is a small round button on each pattern track and one of the tutorials indicates that this might be the secret button I'm looking for except when I select it the track goes to sort of a greyed out hatched pattern but I still can hear the beats. What am i doing wrong? The only way I have found is to block the sound at the machinist source but I hate losing the volume gain settings.

Help anyone?

I am less than 3 hours in on this so please keep answers SUPER basic simple for me.
