I just followed instructions from here:

which changes the audio driver. Mine was set to beta option, which obviously isn't working. Selected top option and works fine now too.

yeah there is something odd going on in past days. I have been using audiotool for last few months and have gotten over the basics and feel comfortable with the tool. Alas, on 2 different machines in last 2 days I have tried to use it to open existing and new projects and hitting play doent start the track. This isnt a no sound issue by the looks - its a track wont start when hitting play issue. Seems to effect the individual devices and also the track player

Hey im new to audio tool and have been following the tutorials to learn, and now my music wont play when im in the studio. i checked my cable outputs and my music and sound settings and my browser and nothing is working. when i hit the play button nothing happens so im stuck.

App is glitching not working, for example I tried everything it WONT PLAY!

Also, check the configuration of your sound card or audio interface. Your browser could be sending audio to the wrong place.
every time i go to my drafts and hit the play button it it says error 404
