New Guy, Potentially Dumb Question.

I've only played around with making music a little bit, however, i really want to get into it. While watching a show today an idea came in my head for a song that i want to try and make. So my question is... How do you go about using some of a shows audio in a song or is that a no?

    Yes and no. Is the show copyrighted? How long is the audio? Is it plagiarism? If it's, like an explosion fx and you want to record it, that's fine. If it's the whole song of the show, that's a BIG NO.

      Doesn't he mean like a word said by a character? If that isn't ok either... thank god I only upload my own samples.
