  • Here are some other solutions, just because:

You can run the signal through a panorama and mono (centre) both l and r. You really only need to mono the ear it's currently going to, but just do both for simplicity.

You could try panning the centroid channel the signal is being fed to, to the opposite side that you're hearing it. This may work, might be fiddly, and might result in somengain reduction.

You could split the signal, send one into a panorama and pan both (for ease) to the same side - whichever is opposite the current hearing location.

My first option, or the stereo enhancer option, are the best solutions.

  • that sounds strange. are you recording through an interface with an XLR mic? That's what happened to me with my Shure SM58 and M-Audio interface. what could be happening is that your microphone is a Mono Microphone, therefore recording only one channel.

your best bet is recording your vocals on a program like audacity, mono'ing it there and re-upload. OR you can put in a stereo enhancer, and dial it to mono

    • I prefer not including other programs into the process of fixing things, so I agree to the stereo enhancer solution. But regardless, all of the above would work.
