VERY NOOB QUESTION How do I make these sounds? I know stereo is a wide sound and mono is more focused on one point but can someone tell me the basics on how to really get this? I don't want to hack it and use a stereo enhancer.

mono and stereo aren't a specific kind of sound, but rather a characteristic of sound itself
'stereo' simply means the sound is split into two channels, left and right, and 'mono' means that the sound is just one channel.
this gets complicated though, because on most stereo setups, mono usually plays in both channels, so using that definition would mean it is stereo.
i find that it helps to think of mono as the 'middle' channel, where the sound is coming right in between the left and right channels
as to how to achieve stereo on AT, simply just pan your sounds or use a stereo detune if you dont want to use a stereo enhancer
So split a sound into two channels and pan each channel opposite of each other?
Mono --> L and R channels have the exact same sound.
Stereo --> L and R channels are different.
Or stereo enhancer
Audiotool is already Stereo, don't worry about it.
The stereo enhancer and exciter sound good when used right before the master output. Try it out.
https://www.audiotool.com/user/sirsplashy/ that would be unnecessary, as it would just give you the same sound as before.
mono isnt a bad thing, its very necessary to have both mono and stereo sounds in a well balanced mix
i find its useful to use panning/stereo to bring attention to different parts of your mix; ex. if you have a lead synth, add some stereo detune and/or panning to really make it stand out from mono backing synths, or vice versa
this works too lol
Right-Left Panning Automation is cool too, when a sound moves from left to right, slowly.
@jewan yeah, that's why I wanted to know. Cause I want to layer and mix sounds cleanly so know this stuff would help me tons.
