  • I'm not an expert in that, but I'd use the Heisenberg. Its FM synthesis will allow you to get a highly distorted waveform with lots of high end buzz as a starting point. Varying the amplitude of the modulating operators with an LFO or envelope set to cycle can help you get an evolving waveform reminiscent of wave-table synthesis. Next is filtering. Try low pass or notch pass (with the Slope) and modulate or automate the cutoff frequency to add movement. If you combine it all you can get very good results. You could even layer two synths doing different things for a more complex sound. Then you can apply distortion (tube or waveshaper) and compression to the result to make it more present, richer and exciting. You could also apply phasing or flanging for more interest and stereo width. Hope this helps.

    • phasing is good

    • I can be of help if needed

    • theres also the pulv technique where you oversaturate it to hell and back with effects and somehow it comes out sounding like a fantastic growl, depending on how well you tweaked everything and what kind of effects you used
