Need presets that sound like metal, I'm a complete noob to Audiotool, any help is appreciated :)

u gots to get a guitar then get the distortion and the chorus and the phaser and the maybe ott try that out

I personally like a square wave as a starting point, since a square waveform is what overdrive distortion usually tends to. Example from 2:10 onwards: Nero - My Eyes (Jordi Moragues Cover)

You can also search for guitar samples. Haven't found a good preset yet, but I believe they exist.

all you need for a sound close enough to an electric guitar is a filtered saw wave with overdrive on it
I've only made rock stuff once or twice I just downloaded samples
