So I'm working on a new EDM track and I want to add some kind of White noise riser, but I'm kinda new to it, I've always used samples of risers and what not, and of course we know what happened with those. So can anyone help me figure out how to make a good enough White Noise Riser? What's a good preset for one? How does the automation work, do I just automate the level or do I automate the tune as well? -FADE

There's a noise generator on the pulv. You can just mute the oscs and turn that on and use the volume and filter to make it "rise". You could probably use the osc as well and automate the tuning for a more fancy one as well i'm sure. The color knob under it sets the frequency spectrum of the noise generator’s output from brown noise at minimum through pink noise at center to white noise at maximum so you'll probably leave it all the way up.
Thank you, I just experimented around with it in a blank project and it works like a charm!
"of course we know what happened with those". Are you aware of the new Newloops samples in AT's library? If you search for "riser" on one-shots in the sample panel, you'll find 30 new samples. Some of them are more based on noise, others based on pitch. Give them a listen.
Of course I know about the Newloops samples, I said how much I enjoy them. I've heard some of the risers, and while I agree they're quite nice, I also like the variety you can have making your own out of Heisen/Pulv presets.
